This is a starting point prepared for you, not legal advice. Read it, change anything that does not match how your organization works, and have your counsel look at it before you rely on it. Every word on this page is yours to edit.
Using this site
This site is run by Narrative Public Affairs ("we", "us"). By using it you agree to what is set out here. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
What we ask of you
- Give accurate information when you take an action — a petition is only worth what its signatures are.
- Sign for yourself, and not on anyone else's behalf.
- Do not use this site to break the law, to harass anyone, or to interfere with how it works.
What you write
If you add a comment or a personal message to an action, you keep it as yours, and you give us permission to pass it on as part of that campaign — including to the decision-maker it is aimed at, and publicly alongside the campaign. Do not submit anything you would not want read aloud.
What is ours
The text, images and design on this site belong to us or to the people we licensed them from, except where we say otherwise.
The site as it is
We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it as it is. We are not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of it, to the extent the law allows.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies.
